Job Description: The Branch Manager is responsible for general supervision of all phases of plant operations including production, scheduling and logistics. Responsibilities also include manpower management and capital improvements. In addition, the Branch Manager will be responsible for annual budget planning and execution. They will work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operation. This person must be trained and have at least 7 years of experience including best practices in both managerial and production and DDMS platforms.

Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Finance/Management/Operations or other related field and/or 7+ years leadership experience in an up fitting facility.

Responsibilities Included (but not limited to):

  • Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility.
  • Work closely with the team to review product consistency while monitoring gross margin performance to determine trends and areas of improvement.
  • Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible.
  • Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality.
  • Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety Engineer to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees.
  • Maintain inventory levels and control flow of product from our suppliers.
  • Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets.
  • Analyze workforce requirements, establish appropriate staffing levels and training manufacturing team.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to manufacturing team
  • Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment.
  • Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.

IT Infrastructure Administrator

Kings Park, NY

Job Description: This position involves being part of the IT Infrastructure team providing cross-location IT Infrastructure support throughout Dejana. Duties included in this position encompass a wide range of areas such as helpdesk, server design/implementation/maintenance, strategic projects, network design, and regulatory compliance.

Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must have working knowledge of Windows client and server operating systems including Windows 10, WSUS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, WDS.

Responsibilities Included (but not limited to):

  • Provide helpdesk support for Dejana employees.
  • Take a lead role in workstation administration. Provide support for endpoints as needed.
  • Cyber Security: Take an active role in implementing the Cyber Security road map. This includes policy and procedure creation, as well as tasks and projects defined on the roadmap.
  • Network Administration: Take an active role in managing the network infrastructure of the company. This includes software updates, hardware refreshes, etc.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Events and Activities: Must be an active participant in the continuous improvement activities of the department and company.
  • Strategic Projects: Work on and lead strategic projects as required. Projects must be completed within time and budget constraints.
  • Asset Administration: Assist in maintaining proper inventories of hardware and software. Assist in audits as required.
  • Support Regulatory Requirements: Assist with maintaining Sarbanes Oxley compliance. This includes periodic procedures, and following departmental guidelines.
  • Travel: Will be based on project work and problem resolution. Potentially 30% of working hours. Most travel would be to the various Dejana locations.
